It was a busy month on the roads for many of our athletes.
Bettystown 5k, Co Meath: Aine O’Connor placed 2nd overall woman with 18.16
Victoria Park 5k in London: Juliet Kose ran 18.52
Achill Half Marathon: Michael Hanley completed the race in 1:32.
Docklands 5K: DCH athletes competed at the Docklands 5K on with Michael Ryan racing 16.42, Orla Duffy 16.53, Sorcha McAlister 17.06, Lauren Tinkler 17.15, Cliona Murphy 17.17, Fiona Hawkins 18.23, Laura Brennan 20.49, Ellen Trenaman 20.52, Aoife Donaghy 21.03 & Aisling Purdy 26.43 – our leading ladies trio were the winning Ladies team on the night!
National 10 mile Championships: In the Phoenix Park, Cliona Murphy placed 5th overall in the Women’s category with a time of 60.29, with Aoife Ni Bhroin racing 72.15. In the men’s race, Michael’s finishing time was 59.08 for the 10 miles!
