Dublin City Harriers

Welcome

Dublin City Harriers, is one of Irelands leading athletic clubs. We are based on the Navan Road,
Dublin 7, in the shadow of the iconic surroundings of Europe’s largest urban park, Phoenix Park.
The origins of the club date from 1918 and since then Dublin City Harriers has been committed to
coaching and performance.

Our past
membership contained numerous Irish champions, international athletes and record holders. You can visit our history from the Club History page in the navigation menu. We put high
emphases on team competition and enter many competitions on that basis.

Dublin
City Harriers is open to membership for those aged 18 years and over. We are a totally voluntary
equal opportunities club and all our services are available free of charge to members.

Our juvenile section, Celtic/DCH, also based on Navan Road, caters for athletes below the age of 18.
Our group training sessions take place typically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. We
have indoor and outdoor track facilities available and of course the Phoenix Park our runners can
enjoy training through the spectacular natural surroundings of a park filled with rich history and
natural beauty.
